ZOOLOGY
The Department of Zoology, was established in 1968 with Pre-Degree under the able leadership of Prof. (Late) Sri. K. Madhavan Nair, founder Head of the Department. Bachelor’s degree programme was commenced in the year 1979, to impart quality education and to produce a class of committed teachers, researchers and technocrats in the Kannur,Kasaragod Districts. .
The Department of Zoology buzz with regular academic activates like seminars, workshops, debates, exhibitions and like activities. Department also involved in diversity studies and conservation activities. At present there are four teaching faculty, four research scholars, one technical staff and 89 students in the Department.
